There are three different length runs to choose from - from the child friendly to the masochistic. you choose how muddy you get!
There are different entry fees for the races Half marathon £25, 10k is £15, fun run £4. we are happy to receive sponsorship too. All profits go to buy equipment for our village school.
Glowing with pride (or is it the cold) at the end of the run, everyone is greeted with soup, cake, squash and water. Children even get a medal!
The Duncombe Arms in Waresley is providing our first water station in the 10k and half marathon and sponsoring fun run medals. Race participants can also claim a 2-for-1 Sunday Roast on race day on showing your race number. (Subject to space, please book in advance on 01767 650764)

We will be joined on race day by KM-Therapy, who are based in Cambourne. Kelly will be on hand to ease away any pre- or post-race aches and pains (please bring along some cash), or provide you with sports & remedial massage advice. The hardcore off-road - a half marathon. Setting off at 10am. The route is well sign-posted and marshalled and are on a combination of roads and paths, Depending on the weather, it could be pretty muddy underfoot. 3 drink stations at around 3 miles (5km), 5miles, and 10 miles Follow the GREEN arrows
All the races start and finish at the playing field next to Barnabas Oley school (postcode is SG19 3AE). The 10km race starts at 10:30 and is open to everyone - although children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Only creatures on 2 legs are allowed to run - sorry this means no dogs (or cats...). Drink station at around 5km - Follow the PINK arrows
The 3km Funsters race is designed to let as many people as possible, children and adults, have fun in the (muddy) countryside, getting some exercise and helping the Village School at the same time. The Funsters race starts at 10:35 from the playing field next to the School and is open to all - although children under 8 should be accompanied by an adult (adults can accompany more than 1 child!). There are no drinks stop until the end - Follow the ORANGE arrows
Please remember that children (under 13 for Speedsters, under 8 for Funsters) must be accompanied by at least one adult - please make sure this is reflected in the entries you submit, as we can't let unsupervised children run on their own - we know you will understand, thanks

safety and that of any children you enter into the event. You agree not to bring any claim against the organizers of this event or other people involved in this event. You have read and accepted the
terms of this liability disclaimer agreement and you will also make anyone else you have entered aware of it. If you do not accept these terms, please let us know and we will refund any entry fees paid.

Our routes use sections of private land, with kind permission from the land owner. Such permission is granted only for the duration of the event, and this in no-way implies permission to cross this land at any other time.
